SEPARATION of duties
Separation of duties:
In most of the organisations they tend to separate duties, because they don't want to rely on one person. That person isn't always going to be at work, therefore it's good to have more than one person carrying the same duty. For example, in my school there are two IT technicians, due to the fact that one of them might be absence or sick, which means that the other one can carry out the task for him/her. However, if there was only one IT technician in the school, and he was absence, the whole school will be in trouble, such as printers not working, can't access the internet, can't log in or computer failure.
